How Do We Maintain Our Bifold Doors?

To clean aluminium bifold doors, all that is required is a wipe down with a damp cloth and maybe a little detergent. Hinges, locks and handles will benefit from a spray of oil twice a year, as would any door. 

The tracks will collect dust and debris and it won’t affect the operation as long as any substance isn’t too big. We do advise giving the tracks a sweep out every now and again.

With the timber bifold doors, it is the same as above, the only difference being that timber needs to be treated every 3-5 years depending on which way your doors are facing.
