Aluminium folding sliding doors have been used in cafe's, restaurants and pubs for many years and are a proven product. Upvc bi-fold doors are a recent introduction, and their bulkier profiles restrict the sizes available, the running gear sits on the outside of the frame and can be seen. The running gear on aluminium bifold doors is concealed within the frame.
The Easifold 3000 can span an opening of 9600mm. The Beaufort has a maximium width of 6200mm, and the Dendura timber range can go up to 6000mm.
Yes. All of our systems have a low threshold option, and still allows for outward or inward opening. The standard threshold does offer the best weather performance, and can be sunk into the floor to give a minimal step height. Low thresholds can be used for exterior applications in sheltered areas.
No. A traffic door allows you to use the door without touching the other panels. A traffic door is recommended where possible, as allows you to operate the door normally during colder weather.
Yes. Our aluminium and timber bi-folding doors can fold and slide outwards or fold and slide inwards.
All of our bi-folding doors and windows are guaranteed for 10 years, and are insurance backed for your peace of mind.
We use 28mm low E, argon filled, toughened double glazed units as standard. We also use warm edge spacer bars to further ensure our double glazed units are as thermally efficient as possible. However we do offer other glazing options depending on your needs.
Yes. We install our timber and aluminium bi-folds and windows nationwide. As well as having our own fitters, we also have local installation teams nationwide that are fully trained in fitting our doors and windows.
Yes we are. Being FENSA registered is very important to us as it gives our customers confidence in our installations. It is also important for the customer, as a FENSA certificate would be required in the home information pack if the house is ever sold.
